Lea Michele’s “Torn”: Did Singer Natalie Imbruglia Like It?

We are very decisive when it comes to loving Rachel’s (Lea Michele) version of “Torn” from this week’s Glee Season 4, Episode 12: “Naked,” but what does the performer who made the song famous think of it?

Australian pop star Natalie Imbruglia had a smash hit with the song back in 1997, and it sounds like she was honored that the tune was given the Glee treatment.

"I'm flattered they chose to cover my song," Natalie tells TooFab.

"Lea has an incredible voice — and is a very versatile performer," Natalie continues. "Being a triple threat... I think she could be successful in whichever career she chooses." We couldn’t agree more, Nat!

So the song might be about having mixed feelings, but it sure sounds like Natalie doesn’t have any about Rachel’s — or should we say Rachel and Rachel’s — performance.
