Matt Bomer (Blaine’s Brother) Gets a Glee Name: Do You Agree With The Choice?
We know a few things already about Blaine Anderson’s (Darren Criss) older brother — played by White Collar’s Matt Bomer — and set to appear in an upcoming Glee episode.
We know he’s ready to sing and dance with Blaine for a very “sexy” musical performance featuring a mashup of songs by ‘80s supergroup Duran Duran. We know the show is currently casting childhood versions of both he and Blaine for a flashback scene.
We even know his name: Cooper Anderson. So what do you think of the choice? Does he look like a Cooper to you? And what about the very obvious allusion to CNN newsman Anderson Cooper. We can’t decide if it’s sorta cool... or a bit of a naming cop-out.
Fun fact: The real Anderson Cooper provides the voice of the narrator in Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying: The same show that Darren just returned from. Think the name might be a bit of a shout-out?
