full size Blake and Aylin on The Glee Project Season 2, Episode 10: "Actability"

Last year on The Glee Project  Season 1 finale, two winners were chosen: Samuel Larsen (Joe) and Damian McGinty (Rory). Each won 7-episode stints on FOX's scripted Glee series, though they both ended up appearing in a lot more episodes than that.

In addition, The Glee Project offered an additional prize of 2 episodes each to runners-up Lindsay Pearce (Harmony) and Alex Newell (Unique). In fact, Alex is even returning this year for a continued arc on Glee Season 4.

However, only one winner was selected during this year’s The Glee Project Season 2 finale: fan favorite Blake Jenner. Glee creator Ryan Murphy had already warned us not to get our hopes up about the possibility of having two winners, but we couldn't help but daydream that Aylin Bayramoglu's dynamic character might pop up on Season 4 in some capacity.

The bubbly Turkish Muslim recently dished to us about the character she hoped to play on the FOX series this fall: "I would want my character to be a little controversial because I do want being Muslim to be represented. And I just kind of want to be super flirtatious and cause trouble and stir things up."

We realize that Aylin couldn’t win right alongside Blake, we still would have loved to see her land a 2-episode guest role, much like Alex and Lindsay did last season. What do you think — should Aylin have been granted a Season 1-style consolation prize?
