We’re loving that the Glee gals have dressed up lately. Two weeks ago, it was those fiery red dresses at the wedding, and last week it was those black and white poofy party dresses at Sectionals. The ruching on the top portion of these dresses flatters a variety of body types (notice how all the ladies looked lovely in this gown), while the bow at the waist accents curves. The bottom half appears to be tulle laid over silk, and the a-line skirt forgives flaws in the belly and thighs. These gorgeous girls don’t need help in that department, but the a-line silhouette is ideal for us normal humans. And the subtle black to white shading on the fabric is divine, don’t you think?

The actual dresses are by Betsey Johnson and retail for $398. Good thing we’ve found several lookalikes that won’t break the bank! How about one of these for New Year’s, ladies?

This version has the same delightful ruching, bow, and silhouette. While the material isn’t colored, it still displays an elegant transition from white to black at the bottom.

We also found a similar style for the curvy set. Halter tops are excellent for the more busty among us, and this dress is currently on sale for nearly half its normal price. What are you waiting for?
