This week’s Glee did not disappoint, as it was packed with crazy twists and jaw-dropping moments — especially with two shocking emergencies! Here are our picks for the top five OMG moments from Season 3, Episode 14: “On My Way.”
5. Finchel is thisclose to getting married...
It’s official: Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn’s (Cory Monteith) parents are so not on the wedding bandwagon. Still, we loved seeing Finchel prep for their nuptials, with Rachel looking utterly fab in her dress. And how cute was Finn throughout the episode, as he was — gasp! — cheering on the Warblers while dancing along in his little suspenders? Okay, so we probably haven’t seen a worse suspenders-wearing dancer since Steve Urkel, but we still appreciate Finn’s enthusiasm.
4. New Directions takes Regionals, and Sebastian is nice? Talk about win-win.
Since when is a Regionals win only the fourth-biggest OMG moment in a Glee episode? That just speaks to how crazy this episode was, but a Regionals win is still nothing to scoff at. And it’ll be interesting to see how Sebastian’s storyline plays out for the rest of the season, now that he’s been transformed into the most charitable singer this side of Bono. And how awesome was Santana (Naya Rivera) as Nicki Minaj? Get some colorful wigs on her, stat!
3. Pregnancy makes you like pop-song covers? Who knew!
We don’t know which is the bigger shock: That Sue (Jane Lynch) is pregnant by a D.T.B.N.L. (that is, a “Dude To Be Named Later”), or that she’s actually offering to help Schue (Matthew Morrison). Somehow, Sue appears to have transformed, and we kinda love this new-and-improved Sue — although we could’ve used some Becky. The only question now is, who’s the sperm-provider? (Our guess? Two words: David. Boreanaz.)
2. Karofsky survives, but what does the future hold for him and Kurt?
Dave Karofsky’s (Max Adler) scenes this week were truly shocking, as he tried to take his own life. Luckily, Dave survives and appears to have an adorable new friendship-in-the-making with Kurt (Chris Colfer), who visits him in the hospital. But could there be more than friendship in the cards for these two? We’re holding our breath until we find out (although holding one’s breath until April probably requires circular breathing or something).
1. Quinn’s in a car wreck? Say it ain’t so!!!
Glee hasn’t had many cliffhangers over the years, but it made up for it big-time with this doozy of a final scene, as Quinn’s (Dianna Agron) car experienced a collision straight out of The Fast and the Furious. So we’re feeling pretty confident that Quinn has to survive (we’ve even got the photographic proof... if you want to see it), but will an injury get in the way of her getting back on the Cheerios or (gulp!) heading off to Yale? This just goes to show: If you need to text, then take the bus.
