Photo: There may not have been a new episode of Glee this week, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have amazing photos for you die-hard fans to drool over! On, Thursday, November 4, the cast was spotted heading to lunch at Don Cuco’s Mexican Restaurant after a long morning of filming. (Also seen on set, Glee’s newest cast member, Darren Criss!) Later that evening, the cast was spotted yet again after dining on Italian at Little Dom’s in LA. Guess we can put those feuding rumors to rest!
Bad news for those of you who hoped the cast of Glee would stay in high school for the next 15 years. Ryan Murphy has said that the core characters are likely to graduate and move on by the time 2012 hits.
"Every year we’re going to populate a new group," Murphy says. "There’s nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot."
Whoa! That means don't get attached to Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Chris Colfer (Kurt) , and the current cast. Well, not too attached. "I think you have to be true to the fact that here is a group of people who come and go in these teachers’ lives — they graduate and they’re gone," Murphy says.
As usual, expect Glee to handle this not-too-distant happenstance with the heart we know and love. "When some of them finish their run at high school it will be very teary episodes. For me it will be particularly tough but a new crop (of actors) will come in."
And that's the key to Glee's success. "I was concerned about that (whether to have characters graduate and leave the show) because those kids caught on so quickly — but I think one of the things I’m very happy we’ve been able to do this year is we’ve brought in new characters. I think if you can keep regenerating — and I didn’t think we could — I didn’t know if people would want those characters (like Sam), but they do."
