Fans of Glee’s Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) have been hoping for this moment. We have been praying for this moment. And now, at long last, it has finally arrived!
Ryan Murphy, you might be the most beloved man on the internet right now.
Just yesterday, the Glee co-creator tweeted that, if fans could get him up to 500,000 followers on Twitter, he would release the coveted Klaine “Box” scene — a romantic Christmas exchange between the happy couple where Blaine gives his boyfriend a promise ring he made out of gum wrappers.
The scene was cut from December’s Season 3, Episode 9, “Extraordinary Merry Christmas,” because of time constraints, but now Glee fans can watch it on Ryan’s MrRPMurphyExclusive YouTube channel.
Ryan officially released the clip on August 1. “Gleeks are the best fans in the world. Because you asked for it...here is the long lost Klaine Box Scene,” he tweeted.
The long-awaited scene is just as adorable, tender, and all-around perfect as we hoped it would be. Blaine’s gum wrapper promise ring — expertly fashioned in a cute bow-tie shape — fits perfectly with Kurt’s signature style.
Klaine is perfect. Blaine is the greatest boyfriend ever. And we refuse to stop watching this clip. Seriously, just try and make us.
