This week’s Glee did not disappoint, as it was packed with crazy twists and jaw-dropping moments — especially with that Finchel phone call. Here are our picks for the top five OMG moments from Season 4, Episode 9: “Swan Song.”

5. The Warblers beat New Directions. Deep breaths, everyone.

Well, this is “new”! For the first time, New Directions don’t advance beyond Sectionals. Sure, the Warblers sounded great, and maybe “Gangnam Style” wasn’t the best choice for a competition, but we still thought New D had this in the bag, even despite Marley’s (Melissa Benoist) fall. What will the glee gang do now? Let’s just hope that becoming a drug mule and hitting the bathhouse circuit are off the table.

4. New Directions’ snowy performance of “Don’t Dream It’s Over”

It’s nice to see Marley and Finn (Cory Monteith) becoming friends, since they could both use a pal — or ten. And there was no denying the joy we felt when the whole team reunites for a glorious rendition of “Don’t Dream It’s Over.” Hey, now!

3. Sam and Brittany kiss!

There were two surprising kisses this week, but the most shocking was Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany’s (Heather Morris), despite Brittany’s fear of the “lesbian blogger community.” The Bram kiss sorta came out of nowhere, and it was strange that Sam claimed to always have a thing for Brittany, considering he was sprung on Mercedes (Amber Riley) not long ago. We can’t see these two lasting for too much longer (make your move, Santana [Naya Rivera]!), but they are kinda cute for the time being.

2. Rachel kisses Brody — and then calls Finn.

Was there any doubt that Rachel (Lea Michele) would emerge victorious at NYADA’s winter showcase once she got that golden ticket? We think not! (No offense, Alexandra!) Rachel performed two sensational numbers — right after kissing Brody (Dean Geyer)! But even more exciting was her adorable phone conversation with Finn, as she cheered him up and shared about her big win. It looks like the days of Finn only getting butt-dialed by Rachel are over.

1. Kurt gets into NYADA!

All we can say about Kurt (Chris Colfer) finally getting into NYADA is that it’s about freakin’ time! And Carmen would have to be crazy to reject him yet again after his sublime performance of “Being Alive.” So will this mean the end of his time at Vogue? We’re not sure, but we’re too excited about getting to see him in class with Rachel to care all that much about anything else!
