As an artist, Michael Jackson has provided inspiration to countless young musicians over the years. Among them? None other than The Glee Project co-winner Samuel Larsen!

So while Samuel will, unfortunately, not appear in tonight’s Michael Jackson tribute episode, the soon-to-debut Glee actor has had MJ on the brain lately.

On January 27, Samuel tweeted, “Working out to the sounds Michael Jackson right now and I feel like crying... I love you MJ, so so much, you are a part of who I am.”

It really is a shame that Samuel’s first Glee appearance couldn’t have come just a few episodes earlier than scheduled. We’re sure he would have loved to have been in the MJ ep. (Seriously, though. Who wouldn’t have?)

Sam’s Glee debut won’t happen until the February 14 Valentine’s Day episode. So for now, he’s still stuck watching the episodes at home on his couch like the rest of us.

Your day is coming, though, Sam. It’s coming soon!
