Things might be all fine and dandy between lovebirds Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany (Heather Morris) right now, but we’re fairly certain that’s only because her ex-girlfriend, Santana (Naya Rivera), hasn’t found out about Bram just yet.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy has promised that fans will get to see Santana’s reaction when she finds out that her ladylove has already moved on with Trouty Mouth, and we’re willing to assume it won’t be pretty.
We all know that when Santana has feelings, she’s often best able to express them in song. So when we heard that actors Naya Rivera and Chord Overstreet were filming a duet for Glee’s upcoming Season 4, Episode 13: “Diva,” we naturally were beside ourselves with excitement.
Early in the morning on December 21, 2012 — which, if the Mayans are to be trusted, is a day that shouldn’t actually exist — Naya tweeted, “Well since the world didn't end it's up and off to glee to shoot an awesome number with @chordoverstreet!!” She later tweeted a photo of the two hanging out in between takes.
Little is known about the song so far, but it seems pretty clear that the duet will be taking place at McKinley. New Directions band member John Lock tweeted, “Good morning!! Getting ready for a great number with @NayaRivera & @chordoverstreet this morning then it's Vacation time :) Happy Friday!”
We’re curious about what exactly makes this song so “great” and “awesome.” Does Naya think it’s awesome because Sam and Santana are finally burying the hatchet... or it is perhaps awesome because two of them are about to get in an all-out, down-and-dirty brawl?
Because if we got a vote in all of this, we’d definitely be hoping for the later.
