Fox still has yet to announce if Glee will be back for Season 4, but NBC just made made it’s official decision on whether or not Smash — you know that other hour-long musical TV show — will live to see a second season.

Smash may not have been quite the smash hit in the ratings that some expected, but it’s definitely holding strong! With an average of 7.7 million total viewers each week and a 2.6 demo rating, it’s beating last year’s 10pm NBC show by 100 and 160 percent, respectively. So was that enough to guarantee the freshman drama a Season 2?

You bet it was! TV Line reports that Smash has indeed been renewed for Season 2.

Forget tiny little workshops, it sounds like Smash’s fictitious Marilyn: The Musical — along with aspiring actresses Karen (Katharine McPhee), Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Co. — will now have plenty of time to make it to the Broadway stage as Season 2 progresses.

Congrats to the cast of Smash on their sophomore season pick-up!
