Try as he might, Ryan Murphy can't possibly expect to keep suave, dark, deliciously villainous Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) away from his screaming teenage fan base for long. And thus, he just teased that Jonathan Groff will be back to reprise his role as Rachel's (Lea Michele) former lover during Season 3! Thanks, Ryan.

Not much info yet, but we do know he's back for multiple episodes, starting with April 17's Season 3, Episode 16: “Saturday Night Glee-ver.” In addition, Jesse will return as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, the glee club of his alma mater, and not the New Directions, as he once tried (slash failed) to do. Jonathan has snagged himself a 4-episode arc (my, we must have been good Gleeks this year!) leading up to Nationals, and Ryan dished he'll have a bunch of scenes with Glee Project runner-up Alex Newell, who'll be on to play Mercedes cross-dressing little bro.

We know Finn already tackled it once, but can we puh-leeeze have another adorably jumbled "Jesse's Girl" performance from Damian McGinty's character Rory? You know that was your favorite last chance performance of his...and there were a lot.
