To feel upset about the events of Glee Season 4, Episode 4 "The Break-Up" is entirely natural. After all, each of the show’s three most beloved couples  Finchel, Brittana, and Klaine parted ways by the end of the episode.

Yet while most fans are still very upset over all the events that transpired, Glee creator Ryan Murphy recently told TooFab that we all might be changing our tunes by the time season 4 is over.

“The Santana [Naya Rivera]-Brittany [Heather Morris] fanship was not pleased. The Finchel fanship was not pleased. I feel like nobody was really pleased — but they should watch the season, and I think many of their minds will be changed,” Ryan told the site. Before you get too excited, he also added, “some of them will probably be more upset.”

So he’s saying something good might come out of all these breakups? Like... what?

“Part of the fun of television, I think, for a viewing audience, is following someone’s journey,” Ryan says. “I think sometimes things have to splinter apart before they can come back together and be stronger.”

Now that is something we can get on board with! Perhaps not all of the couples will end up back together, but it’s sounding more and more like at least one of them will.

Now, the real question is: Which one (or ones) will it be?
