Little is known about Glee Season 4, Episode 18: “Shooting Star” so far. But what we do know is not good.
When the show returns from it’s two-week break on Thursday, April 11, the entire hour will take place at McKinley High. That means no Rachel (Lea Michele), no Kurt (Chris Colfer) and no Santana (Naya Rivera).
So why all the extra time spent in Ohio? Well, the kids of McKinley are about to experience some very emotional moments, and the show appears to want to use the entire hour to give this powerful storyline the time and attention that it needs.
Fox’s official synopsis for the episode is short and sweet.
The members of New Directions are prepping for Regionals, but when an unthinkable event occurs at McKinley High, perspectives are put into order.
So what exactly is this “unthinkable event”? Rumors around the web say that there will be a gunshot at McKinley. Luckily, it seems like no one will get hurt, but the impact of the shooting will be felt throughout the school.
We’ve seen photos from the episode, and it looks like Brittany (Heather Morris) will be particularly upset by everything that goes down. Our suggestion: Keep cuddling with Lord Tubbington. That will make everything feel a bit better.
