If you thought “Sexuality” week back in Episode 4 was the only time things would be getting hot and heavy on The Glee Project — then you probably don’t know this show very well at all.

This week’s Season 2, Episode 9 featured an all-new theme: “Romanticality.” No, it’s not a real word. And yes, it is pretty much an excuse to have everybody all make out with each other again.

Darren Criss (Blaine) — aka the hottest Glee Project guest ever — was there as this week’s mentor. We assume there were two reasons for this: partially because Blaine has, as Robert Ulrich put it, been in “some of Glee’s most romantic and groundbreaking scenes.” And partially because, as Aylin so aptly summed it up, Darren is just “so good looking.

Speaking of good looking, Mr. Needs to Be an Abercrombie Model actually struggled a bit for once in his life, and found himself having to perform in the bottom three. (Sidenote: This so would not have happened if Nellie was still in the competition. Those two can harmonize flawlessly.)

Michael and Lily ended up having more chemistry in this week’s music video than anyone was expecting, but we still like Nellie’s hotel room version of the song better. #sorryguys

So how would you rate this week’s episode as a whole? Did it fully surpass all your expectations, or did things just not quite turn out the way you would have hoped? Sound off below!
