If Ryan Murphy wants you to be on Glee, he’s going to find a way to get you on Glee. Even if it means publically asking you in front of a giant room full of people.

The Glee creator attended a charity event for God’s Love We Deliver in New York City on October 15, and he came up with a very effective way of asking one of his dream guest stars to be on the show.

Over the course of her career, the 66-year-old actress, singer, and comedian has won three Grammy Awards, four Golden Globes, three Emmys and a Tony. On top of that, she’s sold over 30 million albums. But what did The Divine Miss M think about her new offer to be a Glee guest star?

But was that a yes? You bet. And Ryan made sure all his Twitter followers knew it, too.

That said, it seems that Bette already has her own idea about what sort of role she’d like to have.
