Back in early March, we first told you about The "Dianna Agron Birthday Project" — a unique fan-led fundraising effort which aimed to help raise money for The Trevor Project, the Glee-familiar organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to gay and questioning youth.

The Glee fans who started the fund are huge supporters of Dianna Agron (Quinn), and made it their goal to raise as much money for the cause as possible before Dianna's 26th birthday on April 30.

When Dianna heard about the effort, she soon pledged to match the total amount raised by her birthday. At the time, the fans had raised about $4,000 — but that was over a month ago. So now that Dianna's birthday has officially come and gone, how much money will she be donating in total?

Turns out, Dianna will be giving away OVER $12,000 to charity in honor of her birthday. A grand total of $12,875, to be exact!

For comparison, that is three times the amount fans had raised just a month ago. It's also enough money to buy a really decent pre-owned car. That is no small chunk of change!

Dianna announced the news to fans herself on the afternoon of her birthday. The Glee star tweeted, "Glad I had a job so that I can match all of your GENEROUS donations to @TrevorProject! What a gift you all, over 12,000! Wonderful."

Well, guess that’s just one more thing to add to our list of reasons we love Dianna. How many other people give away presents on their birthday, instead of just getting them? And such expensive presents, at that!
