Every Glee fan knows Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) is one of the biggest divas around, but does life imitate art in the case of Lea Michele? According to the New York Post, the answer is yes.

A source told the New York Post that the curious case of the disappearing Sunshine (Charice Pempengco) is an easy one to solve: Charice's role was cut because Lea Michele was jealous! Sunshine was originally introduce with a ton of fanfare to be Rachel's rival — you'll remember their incredible performance of "Telephone" — but then promptly disappeared. Ryan Murphy originally promised she'd be back for a big arc at the end of the season, but somehow that turned into only two episodes.

Was the role really cut because Lea Michele couldn't handle having another adorable star with a big voice on set? A Glee spokesperson says this rumor is "categorically untrue," explaining that the role was reduced because of Charice's busy schedule and "the natural creative process in which some story arcs...did not materialize as planned."

Charice does have a successful recording career, so we'd believe she couldn't squeeze Glee into her schedule. What do you think happened?
