Broadway actress Megan Hilty, who’s currently playing the role of Marilyn Monroe wannabe Ivy on NBC’s Smash, tweeted her support for Ali early in the day on June 5. “@ALISTROKER So excited for you friend!!! It's been amazing seeing your beautiful face all over NYC!!! Congrats!!!” Megan wrote.

Ali, a 22-year-old who trained at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, is the first Glee Project contender to be in a wheelchair. With her powerful story, killer voice, and her knack for coming up with cool wheelchair choreography — it’s safe to say she’s well on her way to becoming one of this season’s top contenders!
