Um, Toto — we’re not in McKinley High anymore. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri Schuester) has been cast on The History Channel’s first scripted series, Vikings.

The new epic series examines Viking culture by way of Game of Thrones — there’s family disputes, clashes between kings, and lots and lots of animal pelts. Jessalyn plays Siggy, the potentially duplicitous wife of warrior-ruler Earl Haraldson (Gabriel Byre). After starring as Will Schuester’s (Matthew Morrison) conniving ex-wife on Glee, she’s been primed for whatever matrimonial mayhem awaits her on the Scandinavian high seas.

We’re thinking the opportunities for breaking into song on Vikings will be minimal — considering that traditional Viking music lacks catchy hooks and harmonies. Sorry guys.
