Gwyneth Paltrow — maybe the name rings a bell? — can seemingly do it all. She earned an Oscar for her breakthrough performance in Shakespeare in Love, and she displayed her pipes at the 2011 Academy Awards ceremony, performing “Coming Home,” her Oscar-nominated song from Country Strong. She has starred in a wide variety of films including blockbusters (Iron Man), mainstream comedies (Shallow Hal), quirkier fare (The Royal Tenenbaums), and quieter period pieces (Sylvia). In other words, the woman stays freakin’ busy.
She also keeps quite the social life. Gwyneth has something of an impressive dating history: She was engaged to Brad Pitt, then dated Ben Affleck for three years, and now is married with two (strangely named) children to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Some girls really have it rough, right? And her famous family members don’t end there. Her mom is accomplished actress Blythe Danner, who has played Robert Deniro’s wife in the Meet the Parents trilogy, and her godfather is Steven Spielberg, director of the film Hook (okay, and a few other movies, too).
