No, Jayma's not actually a germaphobe with a Fargo accent. She's just a very convincing (and adorable) actress! Before slapping on the disposable gloves to play lovably neurotic McKinley High counselor Emma Pillsbury, she made her first television appearance in 2004 on Joey. We're sorry for bringing that one up, Jayma! But at least that led to a role in Wes Craven's film Red Eye, with actors who have more than one character in their repertoire (hint, hint, Matt LeBlanc!). Most recently, she had recurring roles on Ugly Betty and Heroes, and she has also guest-starred on House, Six Feet Under, The Comeback, Entourage, Stacked (wasn't this the Pamela Anderson sitcom?), How I Met Your Mother, and Ghost Whisperer. Her film credits include Flags of Our Fathers, Blind Guy Driving, Bar Starz — we're not sure what this is, but if the title replaces a "s" with a "z," it's gotta be good! — and the surprise blockbuster Paul Blart: Mall Cop. No word on whether she and Matt LeBlanc have any future projects in the works.
Random factoid: She met her husband, British actor Adam Campbell, on the set of Epic Movie, and they tied the knot in 2007. Also, contrary to her IMDb page, she does not "enjoy doing long division and multiplying fractions in her space time." She does enjoy crosswords and Sudoku, however.
