Michael is an actor, screenwriter, and television producer. As an actor, he appeared in Christopher Guest's Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and For Your Consideration. He and his A Mighty Wind co-stars won Best Ensemble Cast from the Florida Film Critics Circle, and they earned a nomination from the Phoenix Film Critics Society for Best Ensemble Acting. He was also in House Arrest, The Ultimate Christmas Present, and Where the Day Takes You, for which he won "Best Actor" at the Seattle International Film Festival. His television credits include Men of a Certain Age, Entourage, Party Down, Pushing Daisies, Arrested Development, Head Case, Las Vegas, MADtv (for writing and acting), Desperate Housewives, and Grosse Pointe. Who cares about anything else? The man was on Arrested Development!
