Season 4 Episode 19

Glee Season 4, Episode 19: “Sweet Dreams”

“When the New Directions find out this year’s Regional’s theme is ‘Dreams,’ everyone has their own opinion as to what they should sing. Meanwhile, the day has finally come for Rachel (Lea Michele) to audition for the Broadway revival of Funny Girl."

Barbra Streisand has always been Rachel's hero, so it seems perfect fitting that her first big audition would be going after the chance to take on Barbra's iconic Fanny Price in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Rachel's birth mom, Shelby (Broadway vet Idina Menzel) returns to help the aspiring Broadway star prepare for her first audition. As for Rachel's audition song? Rumor has it that she will be singing Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." As the song that really kicked off Rachel's glee club journey, it seems like the perfect choice.
