Another Glee Actress Gone? Star Cast In CBS Pilot — UPDATE
UPDATE: Don't expect to see Jayma Mays on Glee very often, but it sounds like she isn't quite gone for good. "She's not off the show," a Glee source told E! Online. "She's been cleared to appear in a few episodes [of Glee]. There's no schedule or plan yet though."
It looks like Jayma Mays might be hanging up her OCD complex and boxing up her many pamphlets and shipping out of McKinley High School and moving on to a new CBS sitcom come fall.
This news comes quickly after speculation that a few Glee kids might not return next season.
Jayma will be replacing Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who only played the Debbie character in the pilot. Casting appears to be a problem for the new sitcom, though, because producers are also recasting Debbie's husband on the show, who was originally played by Michael Rappaport.
We don't know what this new commitment will mean for Emma on Glee, who married Will in last month's finale, but it's worth noting that she had already been cut down to a recurring basis last season.
