The two-time DWTS champion and Season 17 guest judge flew to Portland on Sunday, October 6 to promote the Kind Campaign with Lauren Parsekian Paul and Molly Thompson. Lauren (wife of Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul) and Molly started the campaign in 2009 at Pepperdine University, making a documentary and non-profit to help girls who’ve been bullied by other girls.
When Jules shared this flight photo, she wrote, "Tea✔Eye Mask✔ Early Flight to Portland ✔ Two Amazing Girls ✔Happy to be on the road with these two lovely ladies @mollymaethomps @laurenpaul8 to spread some kindness on this beautiful Sunday afternoon! Really looking forward to announcing what we have planned for next year... #adaywithkind."
Some girls are just gorgeous inside and out! Seriously, when we're up way early in the morning, sitting in an airplane without makeup, we don't look as good as Jules and her buddies. But part of women supporting each other includes being kind to ourselves and not looking for flaws, so we’ll try to focus on the positive.
"So blessed to have been a part of #adaywithkind in Portland today! What @mollymaethomps and @laurenpaul8 have done with @kindcampaign to reach so many incredible young girls/women that are struggling, could soon be struggling, or that witness others struggling growing up in today's day and age, is truly a testament of how they are changing the world! I'm grateful that we met a year ago to figure out a way to work together on @kindcampaign (announcement coming soon-yay!!!) but more importantly to have gained two outstanding women as friends! There really is such a thing as girls supporting girls!! We should all be constantly working on ourselves to spread the love to those around us that need it... Which by the way gives YOU so much joy and happiness when you do! There really is nothing like a sisterly bond! Come on girls lets fight the fight against girl on girl crime! Everyone has a story! Xoxo."
Go Julianne! We'll have to look for that announcement she's talking about. She's come a long way since DWTS, and her status in the public eye puts her in a great position to inspire girls to celebrate each other's strengths. Keep up the good work!
