Despite the return of a Gossip Girl prodigal daughter, one new couple, one new breakup, and one truce, this episode only rated about a 1.2 on the OMG scale. But we sense great OMG potential in the groundwork they’ve laid here, which we expect to pay off in the weeks to come.
5. Ben jumps Nate’s dad
All this time, we kind of thought Juliet wore the pants in the Sharp family. After all, Ben’s on the inside — what could he do to her? Well, for starters, he can beat up her boyfriend’s dad. And then he can... beat up... some other people? Maybe Juliet has a lot of friends in jail.
4. Colin is Serena’s professor
Of course he is. Because Serena has an incredible need to seduce authority figures before she even knows they are authority figures.
3. Little J’s back
Little J! Little J’s back! We missed you, Little J! Okay, we’re over it. Wash your face.
2. Colin’s eeeevil
Our jaw totally dropped when Colin turned out to be in cahoots with Juliet, but we knew there was something fishy about this guy. Serena may think that she can make a guy fall in love with her by yelling at him every day for a week, but even she’s not that good.
1. Dress sabotage
Okay, very little about this plot made sense — why would Chuck think that just bringing Little J back would destroy Blair? Why would he care if people knew he slept with her? How does the world not know already? But it was kind of worth it to see this fashion show/dirty spelling bee. The sad thing is, we feel like someone like the Kardashians would totally wear these.
