Blair’s Royal Wedding Spoilers! New Gossip Girl Teasers for Season 5, Episode 13: “G.G”

The first official photos of Blair (Leighton Meester)’s royal wedding were released and... we’re still not quite sure what to make of them!

Setting aside the dream sequence scenarios that have been teased repeatedly, if this is Blair’s ACTUAL wedding, it looks to be a doozy! In one photo we see a serious conference between Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick) before the ceremony takes place, as B’s mom, Eleanor, looks on. (Odd, right?). And in another there’s a very doubtful-looking B standing at the altar with Louis!

Might she be thinking of something Chuck said to her before her walk down the aisle? Or scrunching those eyebrows pondering a future with Lonely Boy? (And, uhh, is Louis feeling okay?)

Where is Mr. Humphrey, you ask? He’s busy walking maid-of-honor Serena (Blake Lively) down the aisle! Perhaps Louis (Hugo Becker) made DH a groomsman after that little favor he did for him? (Oh Dan, we’d feel sorry for you, but you totally walked yourself into this mess...)

A couple extra tidbits to note...

The dress featured in the photos is the dress that B was wearing when she was seen running down the streets of NYC (and the dress she was wearing at JFK with Dan), and NOT the one in the shots at Vera Wang. Which either means she’s dreaming of a wedding here... or about to flee the real one!

The presence of Eleanor is irkin’ us a little. Maybe she’s just playing over-protective Mama to B in the wake of all that’s gone on? And if that’s the case, does that mean she’s not entirely opposed to Mr. Bass there? Because if our daughter had delayed her royal wedding (presumably to watch over a recuperating Chuck), we’d probably be ushering him out the door at that point...

E! has scoop that Serena and Dan will be pretending to be together in the show’s mid-season return “in order to protect someone close to them,” which we can’t really make heads or tails of because we’re still so distracted by how bad Blair’s hair looks on her wedding day... (Hehehe!)
