Gossip Girl

Though we've been at wit's end with her character Serena for the last few weeks ― don't get us started! ― Blake Lively just totally won our hearts all over again!

Blake covers the March issue of ELLE, and everything released from the story so far is so daaang refreshing! The girl not only gives good quote, but amidst all of the globe-trotting and BFF-shippin’ with Christian Louboutin, she manages to seem... dare we say it, kinda normal?!

She's typically tight-lipped on all things relationships, but opened up to ELLE on what's been perceived as her high-flyin' love life, saying, "I've had four boyfriends in my whole life. I've never been with anyone that's not a boyfriend. If I spend time with a man, it's because there's somebody that I know well who has been a friend for awhile."

She continued, "I've never gone on a date. Maybe I'm too shy. If I've ever had a man in my life, it's because I know him well, and he really means something to me. I don't take that stuff lightly. I'd rather be by myself than spending any time or energy on somebody that I didn't feel sure about."

Blake claims her first bf came when she was 17 (her Simon Says co-star Kelly Blatz ― remember him?), which means by our math that the rest are made up of the trio we know so well ― co-star Penn Badgley, current dude Ryan Reynolds and... Leo. Right?

That is if Leo fits the classic definition of "boyfriend."

In an apparent reference to the divine Mr. DiCaprio, Blake says her summer spent abroad was in service of... French classes. "I was in school every single day!" Blake tells the mag. "I'd get off and we'd go on a boat in my harbor in my little village and there'd be people hiding in a bush. Then people said, 'There's photos of you coming out of some hotel.' I was on a school field trip! And my friend at the time joined the school field trip, and we were walking down the street."

"My friend at the time"? Hrmmm...

Blake also dished on what her future may hold, and says she'd like to have kids some day, with a preference for girls ― but only for the sake of that amazing shoe collection of hers!

"I hope to have a few girls one day," she shared, adding, "If not girls, they better be trannies. Because I have some amazing shoes and bags and stories that need to be appreciated."

Hilarious! (And, uh, note to Blake: We're more than happy to take any of 'em off your hands when the time comes... xo)

And as to those real estate reports, Blake said only, "Newspapers say a lot of stuff, don't they? Though I wish I could afford half the places that I hear I'm looking at. Sign me up!"
