Gossip Girl fans know that no man out-dresses Chuck Bass — but as of September 5, the same rule officially applies to Ed Westwick.

The impeccably dressed Ed won the coveted “One to Watch” Award in the male category at the 9th Annual Style Awards — which basically crowns him the best-dressed man in Hollywood. Congrats!

We know this award means a lot to Ed, because he considers himself a self-taught fashion hero. When asked at the Style Awards what playing Chuck Bass has taught him about looking stylish, he told Entertainment Weekly, “I already had it,” he added, “I’m my own style icon — that’s why I’m here.”

That’s our Ed — humble and handsome.
