It’s so sweet that in the end of Gossip Girl, Blair (Leighton Meester) and Serena (Blake Lively) were able to get over all of the feuding that’s kept them in fisticuffs over the years. We’re not sure what’s going to happen in the long run, but considering Serena marries Dan (Penn Badgley) in what is presumably Blair’s townhouse five years later, it seems like everything’s peachy so far.

Apparently, Blake Lively is just as big of a person, because there was a little weirdness going on in the series finale — and we’re not even referring to the part where she marries her IRL ex-boyfriend in the final scene.

You may have noticed in the opening part of the episode, when Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick) are disappeared in the trunk of a limo, there was an especially catchy song playing. While The CW’s website says that the song, “Bonnie and Clyde” is by Great Northern, we can’t find any reference to their song anywhere on the Internet.

That’s probably because the version on the show actually seems to be a cover performed by Lulu Gainsbourg and, um, Scarlett Johansson. As in, Blake’s IRL husband’s IRL ex-wife.

That’s mighty mature of you, Blake, assuming you knew this was happening... But considering your BFF Florence and the Machine — who played at your wedding — had a song in the finale, we bet this wasn’t the show pulling a fast one on its biggest star.

Share your feelings — we know you have some.
