So many Gossip Girl stars hitting the big screen lately!
Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) took one dapper step closer toward the big leagues last night at the Hollywood premiere of J. Edgar at Grauman’s Chinese Theater for the first night of the AFI Film Festival!
Alongside the likes of Hollywood A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio ― um, awkward alert? ― Clint Eastwood and Naomi Watts, Ed looked the part of a total red carpet pro. Though we must say he seems a little more enthusiastic than normal!
(Pro tip, Ed: We didn’t see Leo DiCaprio making any thumbs up signs... We kid, we kid!)
In the film, Ed portrays Agent Smith, a biographer for DiCaprio’s J. Edgar Hoover ― until he allegedly gets “too close to the truth,” that is! Hmm, might he become privy to the rumored kiss Hoover shares with Armie Hammer’s Clyde Tolson? We know our interest is surely piqued by the prospect!
Though Ed’s been behind the pack of GG cast members making the big screen leap, we’re hoping the new Eastwood “seal of approval” will get the ball rolling...
