After tracking Gossip Girl fashion for so long, we definitely know how to spot a trend among the young and stylish starlets that make up the cast.

We swooned when we saw Leighton Meester (Blair) sporting head-to-toe blue on set a while back — but when Blake Lively (Serena) stunned the crowd at a recent Barneys event in NYC with a cobalt blue suit, we knew that this trend wasn’t just confined to the small screen!

Monochromatic dressing seems to be the next fashion feat to try our hand at, and since both Blake and Leighton (and the show’s stylist) seem to have a thing for blue, we figured that’s where we’d start too.
