Wuh ohhh! We’re not sure you’re gonna like this, Gossip Girl fans!

E! Online is reporting that those incoming developments in the much-teased love life of Serena van der Woodsen will be in the form of someone we already know.

Ahhhhhh!

And there’s more. E! teases that “In totally, completely unrelated news, Serena and Blair’s friendship forecast in the finale? There’s a storm brewing.” TVLine adds, “Blair and Serena’s friendship will be hanging by a thread when the season ends.”

Eeep!

Speculation time…

Our instincts are telling us that that “totally, completely unrelated” business might be totally bogus, and that the issue at hand relates directly to the blossoming love life of S! Does that mean she’s makin’ moves with her ex, Blair’s current paramour, Dan Humphrey (because who else is there, really?)… or infringing on some other unspoken rule of gal pal-dom?

Perhaps it is in fact unrelated and Serena’s (maybe) confession about her short-lived (but just long enough to cause major dramz) stint as Gossip Girl will be the straw that breaks this on-again, off-again BFF ‘ship’s back (phew!).

One thing’s for sure, with just two new eps left… there’s a whole lot about to go down! Which also means we’re bracing ourselves for one massive cliffhanger. (Wah wahhh.)
