Whichever way B’s heart swings, new teases from TVLine foretell a pretty dramatic conclusion to the season. The teases are threefold:
1) “Someone will ‘see’ Gossip Girl.”
2) “The final scene of the episode will feature two characters – one male, one female.”
3) “The aforementioned final scene does not take place in New York.”
(You didn’t really think they’d give anything away, did you?)
We’ve seen many-a photo of Chuck and Blair at a casino and the juicy finale promo makes it look like fate’s finally swinging in this duo’s favor once and for all. But the last tease could also mean that Blair really does take Dan up on his offer to spend the summer with him in Rome.
And as for that hint about Gossip Girl — anybody else curious as to why “see” might be in quotes? We expect the big reveal to happen in the show’s final season — which, we hope, is a year away. But if renewal isn’t in the cards for GG (breathe! we said “if”!), then will we discover her identity via some clue rather than an actual reveal of the person themselves? We think we might be OK with that...
