She’s like the movie villain that just won’t dieee ... That’s right ― Georgina Sparks is headed back to the Upper East Side! TVLine confirms that Michelle Trachtenberg will make her return to the role of Georgina during that BIG 100th episode, set for air in the new year!
When last spotted in the Season 4 finale, Georgina had just figured out Ivy’s (Kaylee DeFer) dirty little secret. Could it be that GG’s resident schemer is partnering up with the newly-outed Ivy?
While Executive Producer Joshua Safran teases that this won’t be a typical Georgina story arc, he maintains that she’s “still Georgina and all that implies, it’s just taking that in a new direction.”
What sort of direction? Our minds are racing with all the possibilities.Will Georgina dare to disrupt the Queen B’s fairytale? Or might she be that new ally to Diana Payne (and Ivy!) at the Spectator that puts an end to Gossip Girl?
Love her or hate her, Georgina makes for good drama — of which there will be plenty. She’s back for what TVLine is calling, “a sizeable arc.” ... So tell us: What do you think Georgina could be up to this time?
