Gossip Girl Season 6, Episode 6 Promo: Our In-Depth Analysis of “Where the Vile Things Are”
Ten times five is... uh, how many times they emphasize that there are only five more episodes left of Gossip Girl. Yep, we know. We get it. So, what else does this promo tell us? Not a lot. Let’s see.
Chuck (Ed Westwick) runs up some stairs. Unfortunately, he’s not wearing an outfit as good as his Season 1 basketball wear, but we bet he looks better doing it.
Ivy (Kaylee DeFer) and Rufus (Matthew Settle) apparently try to bribe their way into something. And, based on the way Ivy is waving that paddle, we’re betting it’s more auction than frat party.
Is she going up against Lily (Kelly Rutherford)? Because we wouldn’t recommend it, lady. That woman invented spending money.
As for Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley), it’s just one Season 1 reference after another. Looks like the pool playing is still happening and she’s finally gotten the Vespa ride she dreamed of. And what’s more? S asks Dan to stay over.
But what’s this? You can splice fast all you want, guys, but we still see what you snuck between the sheets...
You may have “broken them up” in Season 6, Episode 5: “Monstrous Ball,” but Serena and Steven look very much back together here.
Depending on how Dan responded to your invitation, we’d say that would be one awkward pancake breakfast.
