Gossip Girl Season 6, Episode 8 Promo: Our In-Depth Analysis of “It’s Really Complicated”
As our little Blair (Leighton Meester) declares in the promo for the complete sh*tshow of a Gossip Girl episode this seems to be, “It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a side of drama.” And while we’re all done with our leftovers and dreaming of Christmas hams and yuletide carols, the Upper East Siders are just about to carve into a big juicy storm. This is what’s happening:
Blair: “Did somebody order a Thanksgiving spread?” She does have a way with words and political correctness has never been her thing, but just who is Blair ruffling her feathers for? Chuck told her in the last episode that they couldn’t be together (we are still crying, BTW), but are they making a holiday exception?
Well, would you lookie here, it looks like Chair is, if not back together, then at least sitting together in adjacent, um, chairs...
Aw, how sweet. The most awkward threesome we’ve seen. Georgina and Dan know that this kiss may be all show and tell, and not playing for keeps, but there’s no take backs, buddy. The girl is smitten enough to host dinner with you...
Boys will be boys, we suppose. But we can’t help but wonder if maybe all of Dan’s tricky, sleazeball ways (yeah, we’ve been watching) have finally caught up with him. The fact that Nate is the one bringing him to justice seems oddly fitting. That boy’s been involved in some brawls this year.
That awkward moment when you’re buying a lean cuisine and some cat food and a 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke... Well, Serena, we suppose there are worse aisles you could be in when you run into Steven for the first time since he bought you a ring and then dumped you before you got it.
Who’s at the door? Someone shocking enough to have these cool kids all flustered. Is this the moment when they see Georgina? Bart? Someone we don’t even know about? We can’t wait to be surprised right alongside them.
