Gossip Girl Showrunners Team Up With Twilight Director for New CW Show
Good news, Upper East Siders! Aceshowbiz reports that our favorite tour de forces in the entertainment industry are coming together and creating a new show called Copeland Prep for The CW. This upcoming drama series is a joint effort between Gossip Girl's Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, as well as Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke — so as you might expect it will be absolutely fabulous, and may or may not feature shirtless be-glittered hotties.
Even better? Bret Easton Ellis (aka the American Psycho author who wants to write a Fifty Shades of Grey screenplay) is penning the script. It's all happening!
So, what is this new drama about? Copeland Prep will center on a fancy secondary school (sounds familiar!), which is so competitive that its students are literally turning into monsters. Let the bloodbath begin! Also, who else thinks this is television's answer to a Dorito shell taco?
Best of both worlds, guys.
