If you were able to catch a brief glimpse of a video making the rounds last Friday from the set of Gossip Girl (later pulled following a request from Warner Bros), you got a peek of what’s to come in that upcoming Royal Wedding episode “dance sequence” teased late last month by Blake Lively (Serena)!

If not, be forewarned! Here be spoilers...

The video, shot on set with Chace Crawford (Nate) offering commentary as he watches the playback, shows Blake Lively reenacting a classic scene from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, lip-syncing “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.” Blake’s in head-to-toe Marilyn Monroe mode ― the pink dress, the wig, etc. ― as a group of familiar faces offer her support in the background!

YEP, dancing in unison behind her are none other than Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley, Hugo Becker, and even Ed Westwick (so Chuck doesn’t die? or is someone just dreaming he’s still alive?). Near the end, Blair enters dressed as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and grabs one of the fellas away from “Marilyn.”

Which one of her three would-be loves, you ask? None other than Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley)!

Since Serena is so clearly the star of the show here (and surely by “show” we mean DREAM, right?), it seems at the onset that this must be a dream sequence in which S longingly takes back her starring-role (we all know she’s a little jealous of Blair’s upcoming princess title and/or Dan’s love for her)...

But REMEMBER, it’s B’s dreams that often share the landscapes of film history!

Could this be the moment at which Blair realizes her love for Lonely Boy? And will IT be the reason she flees the wedding-that-better-not-be? January 16, you can’t come soon enough!!
