Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) may be having some mixed feelings about his first love gettin’ hitched, but he appears to be movin’ up and out in new pics from the set of Gossip Girl!
Chace was busy filming scenes earlier this week with guest star Ella Rae Peck, and the two were lookin’ pretty loved-up in character as Nate and his new mystery girl! The duo took a stroll down a Manhattan street ― and kissed! ― while cameras rolled and guest director Andrew McCarthy looked on and chatted with them between takes.
Isn’t it nice to see Nate embracing someone outside the small, insular world of his regular clique? And someone more of his own age bracket?! We kinda like it! Still, with Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley) not yet out of the picture, we can’t help worrying for this seemingly-nice young lady’s future with Master Archibald ― somethin’ tells us D is the jealous type...
(And for the record, we’re huge fans of ol’ Blane McDonnagh gettin’ to be quite the regular behind the GG cameras ― we just wish his guest role way back in Season 2 had been better cast so he could return as often in front of the camera! Who remembers him as Papa Rhodes in the flashback ep that woulda launched Lily’s 80s-themed spin-off?)
