Been wondering how it is that Dan (Penn Badgley) lands himself in that unenviable position of vow scribe for groom-to-be, Louis? Or perhaps, even more surprisingly, in the role of groomsman?

E! Online has scoop on the 100th ep where it all goes down, and reports that Louis will be referring to Dan and Blair (Leighton Meester) as “best friends” (take that, Serena!), and in addition to the vows duty, has Dan step in as Best Man(!!!). In other words, if we hadn’t already felt bad for the Hump, now, well… ugh.

While there aren’t said to be many scenes between Dan and Blair, E! advises keeping “quality over quantity” in mind.

As for Blair’s other love, Chuck (Ed Westwick), the two have a couple of key scenes prior to B’s trip down the aisle that are likely to melt our hearts/brains/make us scream at our televisions. Executive producer Joshua Safran teased, “Chuck and Blair are never over.” And, hey, at least we know they’ll be on speaking terms after it all goes down, right?

And what of that ever-present, though inexplicable, Blair-Louis bond? Here’s a very curious tease: “Expect to see a side of their relationship we’ve never seen before… and it’s awesome.”

In news less likely to give you a heart-attack and more likely to WARM your heart, the show’s PARENTS play major roles in this most important of days. B and mom Eleanor share some tear-jerker scenes, and the ones between Blair and her dads Harold and Cyrus are some of producer Stephanie Savage’s favorites ever on the show. Awww!
