Is Chuck Sexier than Nate?
If People magazine is the ultimate authority on sexy, then this question has already been answered. Chace Crawford topped their list of Hottest Bachelors, not Ed Westwick. (Which is not to say that being a hot bachelor and being sexy are the same thing, but we see some shared qualities.) That was the actors, however. We’re talking about their GG characters. And there is nothing more complicated and intriguing than a Gossip Girl character. So who is sexier—Chuck or Nate? We put together our own special recipe for a sexy guy cocktail, and determined which character had the highest percentage of each ingredient. Warning: this drink is potent, and it is often served at the Oak Bar....
DANGER
Chuck was downright scary when he went after Jenny in Season 1. At least a girl does not have to fear date rape in the presence of Nate.

Chuck is capable of being tender, but it doesn’t come easily or naturally. Nate, on the other hand? How about when he surprises Blair at her favorite spot in the park for their first kiss? That was amazing!

Nate is so cute. We’re not arguing that. We’re not blind! But then again, Chuck is hardly a troll. It’s a tough call, but we’re going to go with conventional wisdom on this one.

If these guys were beasts, Chuck would be a cougar. They’re intelligent, elegant, sly, hard to track, and sometimes deadly. Nate would be a racehorse—well-trained in doing something for someone else. And elegant. And fast. But also easy for a woman to bend to her will. Chuck’s pheromones win this one.

KNOWLEDGE OF HIS LADY
We were impressed that Chuck came back from Europe with Blair’s favorite macaroons, and stockings, but does that mean he really knows her? It certainly does, as any woman whose boyfriend has given her a hideous gift knows all too well. (Those jade frog earrings? That are now part of your niece's Polly Pocket playhouse.) When a guy knows you, he knows what you like. What did Nate buy for Blair? Hmmmm. We think Chuck wins this one.
