If you've noticed a decided lack of action between Rufus and Lily on Gossip Girl this season, you aren't alone. Star Kelly Rutherford knows your pain! (And really, who doesn't want to see Rufus and Lily get it on? Yes, we're being sarcastic.)

"I definitely think we need to have more sex," Kelly joked to the New York Post. "I think it's nice when we don't just show the intimacy between the kids. And what I like, even now, is that Rufus and Lily are affectionate. Not enough to gross out the kids -- nobody loves seeing their parents do that -- but I think we represent a couple that loves one another and shows it."

Kelly says she's also heard fan gripes that Lily hasn't been featured that much yet this season, but that may change too. "I haven't had a lot to do thus far [this season], but Lily has some really fun stuff coming up that deals with... how she factors into her kids' lives in such different ways," Rutherford said.

"I think relationships between mothers and daughters are as complex as the ones between fathers and sons. Coming up, you'll learn more about her relationship with Serena."
