We’ve already seen a boatload of pictures from Gossip Girl’s royal wedding, which airs on January 30 — but one smoldering hottie has been conspicuously absent from all the photos.

So we have to ask: Is Chuck (Ed Westwick) even going to make it to Blair’s (Leighton Meester) wedding at all? What if poor Chuck is so heartbroken at the prospect of losing his soulmate, that he just skips out on her wedding altogether!

Well, fear not, Gossip Girl fans: “Yes, I’ll be there!” Ed told HollywoodLife.com at the NYC premiere of War Horse on December 4. Unfortunately, Ed remained tight-lipped when it came to any other details about his role in the wedding.

So will he convince Blair not to walk down the aisle? Will he stand up and verbally object to the union mid ceremony? It looks like we’ll just have to wait until January 30 to find out the answer to those questions.

Still, if it’s any consolation, we’ll leave you with this Ed quote from an earlier Entertainment Weekly interview.

“It’s difficult for me to speculate as to the opinions of fans… but I don’t think they’re going to be disappointed,” he said.
