Greetings, Gossipers. This week we expected to see the beauty and grace that surrounds a cotillion, but instead we were treated to backstabbing bitchiness. Hey, we’re not complaining in the least:
The Gossip Guys make a move to end the ongoing Serena and Blair feud. During Chuck and Nate's "lost weekend" (which involves strippers wearing Blair's lingerie -- huh?) Chuck swipes Blair’s phone and sends Serena a fake peace-offering text. Nate helps lure the girls to the same location, while Chuck holds them hostage in an elevator until they kiss (he wishes) and make up. With nothing else to do, S breaks down and confides to Blair of her search for her dad, who wanted nada to do with her.
In an effort to save his new sis from “the dark side,” Eric sabotages Jenny’s chances of taking Graham Collins, the Nate Archibald of ’09, as her escort to cotillion. Once Little J learns about her stepbro’s scheming, she declares Graham will be her date (snap!) and dumps Blair as her cotillion mentor. You're playing with fire, J! Not surprisingly, B won’t put up with such humiliation, so she plucks social outcast Kira to be her pawn in overthrowing Queen J. Blair's largesse includes stealing J's escort, Graham, and giving him to Kira, the duckling-about-to-become-a-swan. And so poor Jenny is left standing solo when her name is announced. But like Blair, from whom she learned so much, J rapidly bounces back from defeat -- snagging Nate as her date. College boys are so chic. Meanwhile, Eric gets a karma slap when he's dumped by Jonathan for his coziness with Blair.
AND THE JUST PLAIN SINFULWhen Olivia’s offered a movie role that she “must” take (like we didn’t see that one coming), Dan and Vanessa team up to give the starlet the ultimate college experience. They run through a checklist that involves kegstands and…wait for it…threesomes! OM3! Olivia doesn't want to leave college without giving it the ol' college try, so she dives right into a big smooch with Vanessa...Cut to the three of them are waking up in bed together. NAKED! That. Just. Happened. Too bad O gets a text saying the movie’s off, so it looks like a big dose of double trouble is in store for Dan.
