King Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot. Scarlett, Rhett, and Ashley. And now there’s another great love triangle for the ages: Chuck (Ed Westwick), Blair (Leighton Meester), and Dan (Penn Badgley).

Whose arms should Blair end up in: longtime love Chuck’s or dark horse contender Dan’s? We’re totally torn.
Team Chair: Chuck and Blair have been ohsoinlove since the first season. The things that draw them together — their mutual, amoral love of scheming and need to win — are the same things that keep pushing them apart. (Even a Machiavellian acolyte like Blair doesn’t take kindly to being traded for a hotel.) But let’s face it: No one will ever understand them like they understand each other. These two inevitably alienate any potential partner with a shred of common decency, so they should just give in to their smoldering chemistry and admit they’re in it for the long haul.

Team Dair: Dan and Blair have always been the smartest characters on the show, and watching their verbal sparring matches is pure joy. Their flirtation this season has revealed a surprisingly potent chemistry that’s reinvigorated the entire series. When they’re on screen together, we forget that “Chair” can mean anything but what our butt is on.

On the other hand, Dan has always been judgmental of the Upper East Side lifestyle, which, as far as he’s concerned, Blair embodies. Can she be herself around him? Can he learn to accept her? Dan and Blair are already deep in lust — but can they ever really trust each other?
