Gossip Girl has done a lot for our lives — it’s made us go into deep, unsalvageable debt trying to copy the fashion, it’s made us question our best friend’s motives, and it’s made us want to have tawdry hook-ups in stretch limos...
Okay, not really, but it’s certainly been entertaining over the years. For the actors on the show, it has also been a perfect jumping-off point for future career moves. Leighton Meester (Blair) has her movies and music career, Blake Lively (Serena) married Ryan Reynolds, and we’re pretty sure Ed Westwick (Chuck) can have his pick of any person in the world thanks to the sexy character he portrays on the show.
But what does Chace Crawford (Nate) think about the way Gossip Girl has impacted his life? The handsome actor tells Us Weekly that, before he says goodbye for good, he’s “gonna look for my dignity.” He continued, saying, "My dignity is somewhere on set. I think it happened around season two. Leading into season three, it was all out the window."
Hmm. Sounds to us like Chace is a little bitter about the way he’s been used on the show. While he didn’t go into more detail about what exactly caused this separation anxiety, we’re hoping it doesn’t affect his feelings about the final season.
After all, with ten episodes left, Nate could likely fit in at least three more relationships...
