Which Gossip Girl Star Is Getting Sued After Spying on Their Ex?

Someone on the Gossip Girl cast is getting slapped with a lawsuit from a private investigator who claims he is owed money for spying on the star’s ex — and, no this isn’t the center of an upcoming van der Woodsen plotline.

According to the lawsuit (via TMZ), Kelly Rutherford, who plays the privileged Lily on GG, racked up more than $86k worth of services after hiring a P.I. to spy on her now-ex-husband Daniel Giersch in April 2010 — two months before the couple finalized their divorce.

Kelly has admitted to hiring an investigator in the past —  saying she had valid reason to be concerned “about my son’s safety.” TMZ reached out to Kelly about the lawsuit but no response has been given yet.
