Can you believe it’s been nearly three months since Gossip Girl ended? We can, by the number of letters we’ve written (and had returned to sender) to The CW begging for its return. But while we may now have a restraining order against us, we also now have hope: one of our favorite GG alums is coming back to the small screen in a big way. So, who is it? Jessica Szohr.

That’s right folks, Vanessa, Dan’s former BFF who had the most bizarre storylines ever on GG (remember the time she teamed up with Chuck? Still scratching our dreads over that one...) just landed a huge opportunity in a great new pilot that will air on Fox next season. According to Deadline, Jess will be kicking ass and taking names on The List.

The premise of the show is that an “intense Deputy U.S. Marshal” finds out that a bunch of Federal Witness Security Program folks start getting aufed, so he “leads the hunt for the person who stole ‘the list’ — a file with the identities of every member of the program.”

Lucky for us all, Jess will get to put her badassedness to use, as the female lead, “Special Agent Natalie Voss, a fearless FBI agent who detests dealing with the Witness Security Program but is intrigued by the quirky, twitchy Soto.” Let’s hope that she gained some sleuthing skills from the time she spent combating Blair, secretly mailing off Dan’s manuscripts, and popping in, uninvited through windows.
